How is the mattress delivered?

Our Dormeo Memory mattresses are vacuum packed, which enables easy transportation and excellent hygiene. You can upgrade your delivery service to a room of choice with assembly, please call us at 0800 2248 361 for availability and prices. If you purchase one of our Octaspring branded mattresses, you'll automatically be entitled to our free White Glove Delivery service. Our team will deliver the mattress, set up your new mattress for you, and take away the packaging at no additional charge to you.

Do you take away the old mattress??

How long does the mattress take to recover from being rolled?

The mattress must be opened within 30 days of delivery. After opening, your mattress will regain its normal shape in 15 minutes and be ready to sleep on after 6/8 hours. For further care instructions, please read our Mattress Care Guide.

Do you deliver outside of UK?

We can deliver to all addresses within the UK only however, there may be extra charges for deliveries to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland for some Octaspring mattresses. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to Gibraltar, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. Please allow an extra 7 days from receiving your despatch confirmation e-mail if your delivery is to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, and the Islands of Scotland.

Can I try your mattresses before I buy?

We currently only sell our mattresses on our website and through other carefully selected online retailers. But we do offer a unique 60-night risk-free trial on all our memory foam mattresses, which means that we will refund or exchange your mattress for up to 60 nights with absolutely no quibble if you are not happy with it. So why not try it for yourself in your own home, and we’ll take the risk for you?

What do you mean by "comfort guarantee?"

At Dormeo a great night’s sleep is as important to us as it is important to you and if you are not happy neither are we. Dormeo offers up to a 60-night comfort guarantee on selected ranges. This means you can sleep on the mattress at home for up to 60 nights and decide if it is right for you. If you are not getting your best night’s sleep ever, you can return it for a refund or exchange it for an alternative model within 60 days of purchase (only once per transaction).

What is the warranty on your mattresses?

Our Quality Control team works tirelessly to maintain our quality standards and the manufacturing processes involved in making our products. We are proud to offer warranties of up to 20 years on selected mattresses. Check out each warranty length.

Can I take the mattress abroad?

Yes, you can. However, this will invalidate the warranty.

Is it easy to return if needed?

 If your mattress comes with a sleep trial you can return within 60 days. Please see returns guide

Can I use an electric blanket?

We do not use an electric blanket the heat can cause the foam to become misshapen over time and may invalidate the warranty.

Do I have to flip the mattress?

Our mattresses should be rotated once a week for the first 4 weeks of use and then once every 4 weeks thereafter. Rotate head to toe and vice versa.

Can I use the mattress on a slatted bed base?

Our mattresses are suited to standard bed bases and bedsteads. For slatted bases, please ensure the maximum gap is no more than 7.5cm (3 inches), wear and tear on a mattress will be greater the wider the gaps and will invalidate the warranty if gaps are more than 7.5cm.

How do I stop the mattress going mouldy?

The product is intended for use inside the home in temperate environments. We recommend exposing the mattress to fresh air weekly without sheets. In this way, a build-up of humidity is prevented. The occurrence of mould is not covered under warranty. Tip: make sure your mattress is not pushed right against the wall.

Do you do kid's mattresses?

We have a wide range of mattresses to suit the whole family.

Do the mattresses smell?

Some rolled mattresses sometimes have off-gassing, however, this is very rare with the quality of Dormeo products, and if there is any smell this normally dissipates very quickly. If the smell persists, we would suggest airing in a well-ventilated room for 24/48 hours. If there is still a smell please contact us and we can discuss the next steps.

What does "Rejuvenate" mean?

Any mattress that has been slept on for less than 60 days has been professionally treated and sanitised to ensure 100% of the surface area is cleaned.
